- Connecting Wireless Camera For The First Time
- Pairing Camera using WPS Button
- Pairing Camera through DVR Firmware
Troubleshooting Steps
Note: PLEASE DON’T TRY TO PAIR YOUR INCLUDED WIRELESS CAMERAS. THEY ARE ALREADY PAIRED TO YOUR DVR.
Your wireless cameras should come paired to your DVR when you buy them. To complete the setup, follow the steps below:
- Power on your DVR using the correct Power Adapter and wait until it is completely powered on.
- Once DVR is completely powered on, connect wireless cameras to power using the correct power adapter
-
When the camera is connected to power you’ll see that the LED in the camera’s front panel is solid red. After a while, the LED should start blinking red and you’ll hear “Hello, I’m powering up. Be patient and please leave my power on”. This entire step can take almost a minute.
-
After that, the camera’s LED will keep blinking red. This process can take up to 2 minutes.
-
Once the camera is paired to the DVR, you’ll see LED change to solid blue, and the camera says “WooHoo! Setup is now complete.” Now the camera should be visible in Live View.
-

The wireless cameras will come pre-paired to the Hybrid DVR System. If you need to re-pair a wireless camera or pair add-on wireless cameras to the DVR, follow the next steps to pair your wireless camera using the WPS Button:
-
Connect your camera to power. KEEP IT CONNECTED DURING THE ENTIRE PROCESS
-
Press and hold the RESET/ WPS button on the camera for 10 seconds until you hear “Please be patient. The camera is resetting”.
-
Wait until the LED in the front of the camera is blinking red and you hear “Hello, I’m powering up. Be patient and please leave my power on”.
-
Press and hold the RESET/ WPS button on the camera for 6 seconds and release it. You’ll hear “Camera is in Pairing Mode” and camera’s LED will start blinking blue.
-
Now, press the SYNC button on the rear panel of the DVR. After pressing the Sync button, you’ll hear “Please be patient as the camera connects to Wi-Fi”. This step could take almost 3 minutes.
- Once the camera is paired with the DVR, you'll see the LED change to solid blue, and the camera will say “WooHoo! Setup is now complete.” Now camera should be visible in Live View.
Note: If the process fails, please relocate your camera closer to DVR and repeat the process from step #1.
IF PAIRING IS STILL FAILING, PLEASE FOLLOW NEXT STEPS TO FACTORY RESET YOUR DVR.
- Login to the DVR Main Menu
- Click Menu
- Click Maintenance
- Click Default sub-menu on the left
